Poul Henningsen sought to create glare-free light, to direct the light where it was most needed and to create soft shadows, using incandescent light bulbs as the light source.
Henningsen's mathematical approach to lighting, using the logarithmic spiral, led to the development of the three-shade system in 1925/6 and the subsequent product family, which over the years has included hundreds of different models, from floor lamps to table lamps, pendants, chandeliers, and wall lamps.
The PH 2/1 Portable is a cordless version of the classic small table lamp, with blown opal glass shades, a polished chrome or metallic brass stem and base.
The portable version of the lamp is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use (IP44), especially in places where there may not be easy access to the mains power supply, such as inside a bookcase or on a bedside table.
Battery life: 5.5 hours at 100%. Equipped with a dimmer, you can adjust the light intensity according to your needs.
Continuous dimming and 4-step dimming (5%, 20%, 45%, 100%), user setting (you can switch between them)." dir="ltr" data-ved="2ahUKEwi46-2d7a-OAxVz1gIHHeGdPSsQ3ewLegQICRAV" id="tw-target-text" data-placeholder="Translation">
